| Описание : | Fujifilm Square celebrates the work of one of Japan’s major photographers Ken Domon, examining his approach towards “people” in a two part exhibition.
In the first part of this exhibition held between October 1(Wed)-December 1(Mon) will feature fun filled snaps under the title of “Children”. This collection features works from his pre-war “Children of Izu” series capturing the rich lives of children playing in the streets, despite the difficult environment they lived within. Allowing the children to play freely with his 35mm camera he would then photograph them as they returned to their play as if he were one of them. In the following part of the show presented between December 2(Tues)- February 2(Mon) 2015 under the title of “Appearances” a series of vintage portrait prints taken with large format camera are showcased, revealing a confrontation between photographer and subject. |
